ClickBank Giveaway CPA sabotaged
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but a nice CPA opportunity has been sabotaged by noobs.
Bill McRea Marketing has officially shut down their CPA campaign “ClickBank Giveaway” today, reason being exploiters. When Bill and his team realized what was going on, they decided to cancel the campaign. There is not much to say, other than I am disappointed, as I was promoting it as a honest marketer, one of many.
Without further ado, here’s the message I received from McRea this evening:
Hi Haavard, I have shut down the $1 Pay Per Lead offer for ClickBank Training Giveaway.
While most affiliates promoted the offer with a high degree of integrity and respect, others have elected to forge thousands of email addresses or get their “friends” to sign up There is technically no way generate a 100% or higher optin rate.
It is just impossible unless you are gaming the system. Even optin rates as high as 70% are suspect. I conducted extensive split testing with my list and those of people I trust and our optin rate was never higher than 43%. If your optin rate is significantly greater than this your account will be manually reviewed to assure compliance with our terms.
This will delay any commission payments. I am now going to spend the time to sort through all of the bounced email and reconcile affiliate balances so I can make the required payments next month. If you wish to continue to promote the giveaway please contact me and I will create a custom landing page for your use. I will only do this for marketers I know.
Thanks for your efforts.
