SERP Attacks Better than Market Samurai?

Watch out, Market Samurai, there’s a new kid on the block, its name is SERP Attacks. These guys must have done something right, because many Market Samurai owners have already downloaded their Free and PRO ($47, introductory price) copy of this brand new KW and back link tool developed by a Philippine team. Being a new product, SERP Attacks is updated frequently, and it works with the recent updates in the Google search engine as well.

What exactly is SERP Attacks?

Basically, SERP Attacks is a blistering fast site backlink explorer, KW research tool and overall a user friendly, powerful toolbox for drilling down into the best and most profitable niches, be it you dabble in Adsense, Amazon affiliate websites, domain flipping, or what have you. SERP Attacks is still a bit rough on the edges, but clearly shows signs of potential, if the developer does everything right. Here’s a quick glance at what you can do with this software out of the box:

The good stuff about SERP Attacks

Being a regular Market Samurai user I was awestruck by the sheer speed at which SERP Attacks operates, even in this early version (1.2.35). When loading the software for the first time I clicked OK to let it update itself, and few seconds later a neatly organized main window opened on my screen.

The user friendly interface makes it easy to type in a web domain for a backlink check, and SERP Attacks went to work immediately: in a matter of seconds it listed the top 20 domains based on my KW, complete with their external backlinks, site links and PR.

Below the results a short text in bold confirmed the KW to have a Difficulty Rating of “Moderately Easy”. All of this information is neatly arranged on one page for an easy overview at a quick glance. Note: on the screenshot I had just ran a search on the extremely competitive KW “dog training”.

That is an impressive list of features for such affordable product, although bear in mind that the price for the paid version will increase from the current $47 at some point, as it is still in development and the team is currently running a heavy discount to get it out on the market. I am guessing it will land at $97, which will still give competitors such as Market Samurai, Traffic Travis and others a run for the money.

SERP Attacks still needs improvements and polishing, but other than minor snags, which is to be expected in an early version, I am impressed by how well it runs. Some reviewers are a little reluctant in regard to how Google Adwords works in conjunction with this software; the user must type in his/her Adwords login data in order to take full advantage of Adwords from within SERP Attacks. On the other hand, if this is an issue at all, simply create a new, free Google Adwords account for this purpose.

This is my initial impression with the SERP Attacks software. It is fast, offers a nice range of tools, and developed by the same team who made Tweet Attacks, they seem to know pretty well what they are doing.

Back to the title question: is SERP Attacks better than Market Samurai? The only answer I can give at this point, is that you should download both (Market Samurai is available as a Free Trial here) and see for yourself. Market Samurai has been out for years, whereas SERP Attacks is a (pretty awesome) newbie, one that might give the guys at Noble Samurai a run for their money eventually. Summer is here at last. My left ear has caught an infection, most likely due to the unusually hot and humid weather. Drop My Link-For Free Backlinks

When browsing online yesterday I found this neat, free online tool called “Drop My Link“. It’s user-friendly little helper that finds web properties letting visitors add their backlinks. Like when you buy a new computer mouse and toss the manual in the bin, this tool is so easy, no manual is required.

The website presents two text fields, “Keywords” and “Find”. In the “Keywords” field you type in your keywords, for instance “how to grow vegetables”. The “Find” option includes a list of following properties, for filtering out which kind of websites you want included in the results:

Directories-add URL

Word of caution: do not abuse social web properties, blogs or any other places accepting backlinks. If you are commenting in a blog to add your backlink, make sensible and in context comments. Quick Indexing for your Top Level Domain

I was browsing forums looking for new tips and tools to help marketers get their blog or website registered in Google and the other major search engines, sooner. I found a nice and easy to use online tool provided by a forum member over at BHW. The tool is called Quick Index and it is so easy to use, you’ll be done in a moment.

This is purely for indexing your domain(s) in the search engines. Quick Index is 100% whitehat. There are no shady tactics involved nor punishment from search engines for using this method.

How Quick Index works:

Put in the URL you want indexed in the “Domain” text field.
Choose “Manual” to click each of the thirty links manually.
Choose “New Browser” if you your system can handle thirty+ browser instances.
Wait; this will take at least a couple of hours, but your URL should be indexed soon.

Note: this only works for top level domains, i.e. www.yourwebsite.com, this is not a back-link building tool. Quick Index notifies the search engines that your URL is active and waiting to be indexed, something which otherwise can take weeks or longer.

How To Drive Free Traffic To Your Site With Articles

Tools to drive visitors to your website are many but the main one that should be employed is the use of articles. The popularity of article writing and exchange has emerged as a convenient way for people to promote and get fresh content for their sites. The popular search engines want new, creative material and content for their users who are very demanding. Most internet users consider the internet to be one huge database and the search engines also see it as a giant source of information. It is a good idea to understand what it is the search engines are looking for, so rewriting an article automatically makes it something the search engines want, unique content.

However, you may be of a mind to start writing articles from scratch and discard the idea of rewriting existing articles and if that is the case there are a few things you will need to consider. Once you have determined a topic to write on you need to do some research and this is easily done online by entering a search phrase for your topic into your favorite search engine. The importance of making the article flow correctly must not be underestimated so ensure that you have a beginning, middle and an end which should hopefully round up the article nicely. The conclusion is a winding up of all the information you have just written and doesn’t need to be more than about four sentences with most articles approximately twenty sentences long. In order to excel at article writing, do not forget that it’s imperative you use good writing methods. Writing on a daily basis will help achieve this because you will come across the same problems faced by every other regular article writer but it will help you to improve. This method works well and that’s the reason why I believe you should remember that the more writing you do, the more effortless and productive it will become. I wish that these guidelines were like the Holy Grail of writing but they’re not although they have worked for many writers including myself, only you can decide whether it’s this system or another that best suits you, however, whatever method you choose, stick with it.

Many webmasters are obsessed with the Google Page Rank. Articles and books have been written about Google PR (Page Rank). Forum postings cover the topic over and over again and about every 3 months tensions are rising when a possible Page Rank update is eventually happening. Page Rank updates are an interesting experience watching a small group of webmasters go a little crazy.

It all starts with somebody noticing the PR update in progress. This event will find its way into forums and newsgroups fast. Within minutes and hours the Internet community becomes aware of a Page Rank update. As Google.com uses several different data centers for its search engine services and also updates them in different intervals webmasters all over the world will see different results when looking for Page Rank results. A Page Rank update will also not complete within an hour or a day. For several days results will fluctuate.

With that in mind it is a funny event watching the hype surrounding a PR update. Webmasters get nervous if the PR of their website suddenly changes. A change can mean that the PR completely disappears or that the webmaster sees different (conflicting) results. As a high Page Rank can mean higher amounts of traffic and eventually higher income from a website this event often feels like a rollercoaster ride for the people who depend on having a successful website. Imagine the website you worked for so hard suddenly going up and down in Page Rank during a PR update. Now the same people start posting questions and comments in forums and newsgroups. The more experienced webmasters know the game and react professionally. They know that the publicly visible Page Rank is just a moment in time to display a snapshot of what is in Google’s database. They know that PR actually updates daily or weekly internally, but that these more frequent updates do not show up as publicly visible PR updates. But no matter how often it is pointed out that the publicly visible PR is not important – the hype around this topic by a large group of webmasters does not quiet down. “How many links does it take to get a PR 5?” – “Why does my PR suddenly went down? I added x number of back links to my site.” – “I hate Google for doing this.” – These and many other comments or questions will show up. But in the end it all comes down to: Public PR is just a snapshot in time of what is in Google.com’s database. PR changes much more often than what is showing up in the Google Toolbar.

And so it comes as no surprise that about every 3 months the tensions go high up in newsgroups and online forums when it comes to discussing Google Page Rank. If you are on the hunt for a high Page Rank for you site – don’t waste time looking for the publicly visible PR. Use the time the others need to discuss PR to actually work on the Page Rank for your site. Establish high quality back links to your site. Grow these numbers slowly. A large increase in a short amount of time is not natural. Back links grow slowly and that is what Google is looking for. Be smart – be in it for the long run and not some short-term PR gain that won’t last.
